ELand opend its business with small money of 5million won in 1980 and grew up to 37th largest company with assets of 530bilion won in 2006. Its main strategy is M&A.
In the summer of 2007, Homever, which was Carrufeur(a French mutinational company) and taken over by ELand, and ELand workers were fired just before enactment of a new bill on irregular workers.
